|Woodworking has been my passion starting as a young boy. My
first project was a shoe shine box. I wanted to make some money
but my mother thought better of it at seven years old. I used it for
many years anyway. In Jr. High and High School I got a good start
in Industrial Arts classes. I received an award in the Sophomore
year for my work but I didn't think about it being all that great I was
just having fun..
The next formal training was Eastern Kentucky University Industrial
Arts Department with emphasis in wood working.
I taught Industrial Arts for eight years and then moved into
Vocational Education, now Ret.
Have kept wood working projects going in between building a
boat storage facility, three houses to live in, Graduate work, being
Scout Master & sometimes crashing and sleeping.
